
2 Tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 teaspoon dry yeast
2 cups flour
Make a dough easy to handle. Let rise 1 - 1/2 hours.
Pat the dough down with your hands and then roll to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into circles and let rise for 30 minutes or until double in size. Fry in preheated oil until golden brown on each side.
Fill with cream or fruit preserves.
