1 gallon of milk 4% (whole milk)
1 lemon or if lemon juice is too sour for you, use 16 oz. of yogurt
Place the milk on the stove to warm up... when almost ready to boil remove from heat and add lemon juice, mix all the time. Soon the curds start to get together.
Place in cheesecloth and let the whey drain for about 8 hours.
Use as you please.
Delicious with spices, fresh tomatoes and French bread.
